Company History

  • 1853 - Founded by James Curry in Wooster, Ohio.
  • 1864 - Son D.C. Curry joined company.
  • 1867 - Two other sons (John R. and Wellington) joined company.
  • 1874 - Company named D.C.Curry & Company after son
  • 1901 - The D.C.Curry Lumber Company was incorporated in Ohio on June 20th.
  • 1921 - Moved to present location: 331 West Henry Street, Wooster, Ohio.
  • 1950 - Curry started building Post-frame buildings (Pole Barns) out of round poles, and are still building Post-frame buildings today.
